SEATTLE — UPDATE: Seattle police confirmed that homicide detectives arrested a 25-year-old man involved in the Rainier Beach double homicide this morning. Police reportedly booked him into the King County Jail for two counts of Investigation of Murder.
Two people have died after being shot outside a nightclub in South Seattle early Sunday Morning.
The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is investigating the double homicide, which happened around 3:30 a.m. in the Rainier Beach neighborhood.
According to SPD, officers first on the scene found a security guard with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition but later died at the hospital.
SPD says a second man was found with a gunshot wound to the head, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the suspect(s) left the scene before officers arrived.
