INDEX, Wash. — US Highway 2 has been cleared; it was blocked by trees and debris, said the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
WSDOT says US 2 was blocked in both directions west of Index at Index-Galena Road (milepost 35).
Crews are now alternating traffic through the area.
Travelers in the area should use caution and expect delays as crews continue their work to fully reopen the highway.
