SEATTLE — Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that happened Monday evening in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood.
Seattle police told KIRO 7 that a 55-year-old man was found stabbed to death inside his van that was parked near the area of 6th Avenue South and South Massachusetts Street.
The victim’s friend was doing a wellness check when the man was found in his van. That friend flagged down a transit police officer to report the stabbing.
Seattle police and King County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded, adding that they did all they could to save the man.
The search for a suspect is underway.
