BOTHELL, Wash. — Both the southbound and northbound lanes of Interstate 405 at the SR 522 interchange have reopened as of early Monday morning, the Washington State Department of Transportation confirmed.

It was closed all weekend as crews completed ramp removal work at SR 522.

Southbound I-405 reopened early to traffic in Bothell on Sunday afternoon.

The northbound lanes also reopened early, at around 2 a.m. on Monday, about two hours ahead of schedule.

This is the project’s second consecutive weekend closure and the final one, according to WSDOT.

Signed detours were in place to direct travelers around the closure.

The work is part of the I-405/Brickyard to State Route 527 Improvement Project.
