RENTON, Wash. — A mudslide has shut down a westbound lane of Maple Valley Highway (SR 169) in Renton.
The slide happened across from the Riviera Apartments across from Blaine Dr. SE.
No injuries have been reported and there are no immediate evacuation orders, according to Renton police.
City crews are working to evaluate the damage.
It’s unclear when cleanup is expected.
One westbound lane remains open, so expect delays. The other lane will be closed overnight.
