BELLEVUE, Wash. — Officers with the Bellevue police department were involved in a shooting at the Bellevue Transit Center Friday afternoon, the department said.
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting, but a Bellevue officer and a suspect were injured.
Both were taken to the hospital.
Video from the scene shows people were seen running from the transit center at about 12:34 p.m.
The incident has been officially transferred to King County Independent Force Investigation Team (KC-IFIT). An independent investigation of this case will be conducted by this team.
