MONROE, Wash. — A person is in custody, and a death investigation is underway in Monroe.
Police have not specified the circumstances leading to the person’s death, whether it was a murder or type of homicide.
A large police presence was seen in the areas of Fremont Street, Ferry Avenue and Al Borlin Park around 6:40 p.m. on Friday.
Monroe police said there are no other outstanding suspects.
