AUBURN, Wash. — The King County Sheriff’s Office says a homeowner called 911 this morning, saying they shot someone who was breaking into their house.
The call came in around 7 a.m. Tuesday.
It happened at a home on South 362nd Place in Auburn.
Aid arrived on scene. The department says the person died.
The department says there is no danger to the public.
A neighbor, who has been in her home for 12 years, said she did not expect the scene when she woke up.
“We haven’t had any problems in the twelve years we’ve lived here,” Teresa Gonzales told KIRO 7.
